Mutual respect
"Lucifer" is a space based on deep mutual respect between all participants, and between them and the organizing and supporting team. We expect all visitors to the event to treat each other with kindness, consideration, and acceptance, while respecting the personal space, gender identity, tendencies, and boundaries of each person in the venue. This approach is essential to creating a pleasant, safe, and enabling atmosphere. Therefore, we adopt a policy of absolute zero tolerance for any form of harassment, bullying, judgment, disrespect, or other offensive behavior. Any report of inappropriate behavior will be treated seriously and promptly by the security team and DMs, and may lead to immediate removal from the event and even the entire lane. Our goal is for everyone to feel welcome, safe, and free to express themselves without fear.
Enthusiastic agreement
The central and uncompromising foundation upon which every interaction at Lucifer is based is passionate, informed, free and ongoing consent. We believe that open, honest and direct communication is the most important tool for ensuring a safe and empowering experience for all participants. Consent is not just an initial “yes” – it is an ongoing process of listening, respecting boundaries and checking-in throughout every interaction, whether verbal, social or physical/sexual. It is important to always remember: an unequivocal ‘no’ is a ‘no’. ‘Maybe’, ‘I’m not sure’ or any response that is not a passionate and clear ‘yes’ – are also considered an absolute ‘no’. Furthermore, consent given can be revoked at any given moment, for any reason, and all parties must respect this immediately and without argument. Clear communication about desires, boundaries, and the use of safewords, where relevant, is essential to realizing fantasies and playing within a safe and responsible space. We expect all guests to not only respect these principles, but to embrace them as an integral part of how we conduct ourselves in our space.
DMs
The Lucifer team, including experienced and experienced Dungeon Monitors (DMs), are present at the event to support, assist, and ensure a safe and enjoyable space for everyone. The DMs are not ‘police officers’, but a resource for you – you can contact them with any questions, concerns, requests for assistance, or reports of inappropriate behavior or unsafe conditions. They are here to ensure that venue rules and ethics are being followed, help resolve conflicts respectfully, offer support if needed (e.g., assistance after an intense scene), and act in cases of rule violations or emergencies. Don’t hesitate to approach them; their presence is intended to allow you to feel safer to explore and express yourself freely, knowing that there is a professional and supportive person maintaining order and the well-being of the community.
Safety and Responsibility (SSC)
Our guiding framework for all play and interaction is Safe, Sane, and Consensual (SSC). We expect all participants to take full personal responsibility for their actions, to play in a manner that is aware of the risks (physical and mental), and to always operate within the boundaries of clear and ongoing consent of all parties involved. ‘Safe’ means understanding and minimizing physical risks; ‘Sane’ refers to the ability of all participants to make informed decisions and be responsible for their actions (and therefore not allowing participation under the influence of extreme mind-altering substances that affect judgment); and ‘consensual’ is the central principle, as outlined above. We strive to create a space that allows for deep exploration and authentic expression, but always while maintaining healthy boundaries, open communication, and self- and mutual awareness. The responsibility for the safety and sanity of the scene lies first and foremost with the participants.
